King/Queen Five Boroughs Tour FAQs

  • Annual membership dues are $60.

  • Nope! Pick and choose the events you can play and still be eligible to compete for different prize pools.

We have season-long prizes AND monthly prizes.

  • All FBG Tour events are 18-hole, stroke play format. All events use Net Scoring, allowing golfers of all ability levels to participate equitably using their updated Handicap Index. You can learn more about our Rules of Play below.

  • In each month long tournament, you’ll compete in a net flight with golfers of similar abilities, and any points that you earn as a result of your performance will show up in the season-long leaderboard linked in the Discord channel.

  • Details are shared upon registration.

  • Members are responsible for booking their own tee times directly with the course or third-party such as GolfNow. We encourage members to coordinate rounds with other members within the members only Discord channel.

  • You can play at any time during the month of each event (all of April to play the April course) either by yourself, with a partner or as a threesome or foursome.

FBG Tour members can find other members to play by using our virtual clubhouse on our Discord Server, which allows for golfers to connect and share their availability for an individual tournament or on a recurring basis.

  • Great question! This flexible format only works with the highest level of integrity by our players.

First and foremast, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to cheating and posting inaccurate scores. We will rely on a suite of handicap management tools to flag fake scores and handicaps as well as rely on self-policing and reporting from members to identify any cheating. If found guilty of cheating, a member will automatically be banned from the Tour for the remainder of the season and no refund will be processed.

  • Any members posting scores better than net even par or earning points in their division will undergo an automatic review of their Handicap Index history to check for any anomalies.

  • Any score that produces a Score Differential™ that is at least 7.0 strokes better than your Handicap Index® at the time the round was played is considered exceptional and is subject to the exceptional score reduction.

If the Score Differential is between 7.0 and 9.9 strokes better, a -1 adjustment is applied to each of the most recent 20 Score Differentials in your scoring record. This has a net impact of reducing the Handicap Index by 1 stroke.

If the Score Differential is 10.0 strokes or better, a -2 adjustment is applied to each of the most recent 20 Score Differentials. This has a net impact of reducing the Handicap Index by 2 strokes.

Rules of Play

  • We have capped the course index at a maximum of 36 strokes for all events

  • If there's a tie in net scores on our leaderboards, we break it using tiebreakers based on the net score of the most challenging handicap (HDCP) hole. We work our way backward from the hardest to the easiest in case of ties.

  • We utilize the Stroke and Distance out of bounds rule. For more info please click here for a quick video:

Additional local rules for each event will be posted before the event.
