King/Queen of the Five Boroughs Tournament

We created this super flexible, play-at-your-convenience, season-long tournament to add a little more juice to every round without losing the casual nature of a round with buddies.
Every month we pick a different course to play. Members have 30 days to play, either on their own or with another member, and post their score to the tour leaderboard.
Players will rack up points based on their monthly finish. If you post the lowest net score in your flight for the month, congrats—you’ll snag first place and score the most points. On the flip side, if your net score lands at the bottom, you’ll earn the fewest points for that month. Each month's points add up throughout the season, and the goal is simple: stack up the most points by the end of the regular season ahead of the Finals. 🎉
Double Points, Double the Stakes
During the season, we will host in-person Majors at premier courses within the city limits (Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey) where the stakes are higher—points are doubled for everyone! These Majors are your chance to shake up the standings, catch up on the leaderboard and, most importantly, enjoy an awesome day on a beautiful course with fellow New Yorkers. 🏌️‍♂️
It all comes down to September. Compete in one of three finals days and post your final score. Winners from each flight will snag awesome prizes from FBGC and our sponsors.
The more points you have from the regular season, the greater your starting lead in the finals.
Whether you’re scratch or just breaking 100, there’s a flight for you:
- A Flight: 0 - 4.9 HCP
- B Flight: 5 - 9.9 HCP
- C Flight: 10 - 14.9 HCP
- D Flight: 15 - 19.9 HCP
- E Flight: 20+ HCP (Max HCP is 30)
Our flexible structure allows you to play the full season or pick and choose events at your convenience. You’ll still rack up points and compete for those coveted prizes.
